Companies have already embraced cloud computing and a lot more companies are going to go ahead and use services that are being provided by cloud providers and you have so many cloud providers in the industry today.

What is Cloud Computing?

Cloud computing includes the delivery of computing services such as your servers, your storage, your databases, your networking software, and much more. It does the delivery of this is done via the Internet and that’s what makes it so easy to use. Here, when it comes to the payment model, you pay for how much you use, here the biggest advantage is that you don’t need to pay any money upfront in order to start using cloud service and then finally, with the help of cloud computing, you can actually be ahead of your competition because it allows for faster innovation, flexibility, and delivery of the services that you want to deliver on to your customers.

Data Centers (Traditional)

Companies would go ahead and have data centers wherein they would have these racks and racks of servers and then they would host their workloads, their applications, their databases on these servers.

Advantages of using Cloud Computing platform

Now, when it comes to using platforms such as Azure,

1. You don’t need to manage these large machines. You don’t need to manage the data center because Azure has their own data centers. They manage everything for you.

2. You don’t need to manage the infrastructure. You don’t need to buy the machines. You don’t need to invest in hardware. So you save on money. You don’t need that initial capital investment. So here you don’t need to invest on any hardware.

3. You also spend less time in operations. So you don’t need the personnel to go ahead and actually manage the entire data center. And that allows you to go out and then focus on your business. so you can focus on your customers. You can focus on your applications.

And that’s why in today’s time, it is very important for you to actually know the workings of a cloud platform.
